Automatic switchover on high limit ensures that the backup system is brought online immediately in the event of a primary system failure -- even if it occurs overnight or on a weekend when personnel may not be onsite to manually switch to the backup system. Primary and backup systems are automatically rotated twice per week, ensuring the reliability of the backup system and equalizing system usage.
